The Lust List – Spring 2020

Hey there! If you’ve stopped by the blog recently you will have seen that the Lust List has had a refresh. For Spring 2020 I wanted to update all the pretty things that had taken my fancy whilst perusing online.

Instead of just posting my lust list, I thought it might be a good practice to create a regular post to accompany the list to explain why each item has made the list and why I am coveting it.

Sound good? Yeah I thought so too.

So here’s the Spring 2020 edit, get them before they’re gone.

In first and second place, holding onto a permanent spot on the top of this list are 2 items from Belgrave Crescent. The Saint Tropez Zip Pouch in blush pink and the Parisian Skies Tassel loafers in Pink. Alas neither are available any longer but I still covet them. Having them on top of my Lust List is akin to cosmic ordering. I hope somehow, someday the universe will hear me and will bring them into my life.

If however you are in the market for a fantastic “dupe” then these Office pink suede tassel loafers are a great option. At a significant reduction currently, you’ll need to be quick to grab a pair for £35.

The pink theme continues with this utterly devine Mini Millie from Mulberry. Those of you who know me will know that I’m actually called Millie by all of my nearest and dearest. Amellia is my name of course but I generally only hear it when I am at the doctors surgery or in trouble with my husband or mother.

As she is my namesake and has been crafted in the most delicate shade of pastel pink, I feel that we must be destined for one another. I love her shape and I am a sucker for a cross body bag.

The mini Millie will make the most perfect spring and indeed summer bag for 2020 and of course, being Mulberry, she will last many many seasons.

My next item is whimsical and wonderful in equal amount. The dreamy Honey Crown from RocknRose has me wanting to book a flight to Coachella. However, Coronavirus has other plans. I will happily make do with my own back garden, swaying gently in the sunset to Lana Del Rey.

My list wouldn’t and couldn’t be complete without a beauty product or 2. Making the spring edit is a fantastic cleanser I have been using for many months and it will be making a feature length appearance on the blog soon. I have used up every last drop of this Skin Regimen cleanser and will be making a repurchase.

It’s gentle but very effective, cruelty free and a snip at £26. There is nothing not to like about it.

Up next is the epitome of Jacki O elegance when it comes to Garden style. This Dani Pom-Pom umbrella in pastel pink is a dream. It’s quite expensive and comes from our cousins over the pond, but it is an investment piece and will elevate the garden with a sense of 50’s hollywood glamour. Beautiful.

Continuing the WASP theme, next up I have the most delectable china ware for you. No Hamptons home would be complete without Cabageware. I am in the process of collecting these as I find them completely adorable and ever so quirky. These Dodi Thayer pieces are available in pink and white or the classic green. Each equally lovely and all an investment piece. The only difficulty is deciding which pieces to buy.

I can’t get enough if this current trend for leaf prints and Miami pastels. Its the perfect marriage of colours and patterns and has me feeling all manner of Slim Aarons vibes. This little dress with its palms and lemons is no exception. An absolute delight and a snip at £24.99 from H&M. SO good infact, I’ve bought it twice; a good piece of life advice, if you like it and you can afford it, buy 2.

As well as looking after your spring wardrobe and home it’s also good to look after yourself. Properly from the inside out. I’ve been increasingly interested in Probiotics and Prebiotics and stumbled across this product range before lockdown whilst visiting Re:Mind Studio in London.

If you are looking for a product to add into your daily dietary routine with no interference or hassle, then this is it. The Nue Co. is a refreshing brand of supplementary products designed to support a range of body systems, including skin , by creating good gut health. Beauty after all, is on the inside.

I’ve been using my supplements for around 6 weeks now and I am really enjoying the benefits.

Lastly but by no means least on the Lust List, is my favourite night oil. Aurelia Probiotic skincare is a delightful brand, which I have been enjoying for the past 2 years. In particular this Cell Repair night oi has been re-purchased several times. I have a post about how I use this as part of my night routine if you’d like to know more.

And there you have it. My spring selection. Some bits I have and some bits I am lusting after. Does anything take your Fancy?

Remember these posts do contain affiliate links, which means, if you do end up purchasing any of these items, I can probably afford to buy a packet of fruit pastels with the commission I earn. Everyone’s a winner!

Take care x
